Made to Your Exact Measurement
Every Brass Blade belt is cut individually for the person who will wear it.
There are no preset sizes. No rounding. No guessing.
Your belt is made to the measurement you provide - precise to the quarter inch - so the fit feels natural from the first day and remains comfortable for years.
The Most Accurate Way to Measure
The simplest and most reliable method is to measure a belt you already wear comfortably.
-
Lay the belt flat on a table.
-
Measure from the end of the leather at the buckle to the hole you use most often.
That exact distance is the length your new belt will be cut to.
Nothing added. Nothing reduced.
Visual Reference
Measure your existing belt from where the leather wraps around the buckle.

Measure to the hole you use most often (not necessarily the middle hole in all cases).

A Note on Precision
Because each belt is made one at a time, there is no need to adjust your measurement to match a standard size.
Provide the true length, and the belt will be built to it, as precisely as the material allows.
This level of accuracy is uncommon in modern belt making, but it is the only way a made-to-order belt should be produced.
If You Don’t Have a Belt to Measure
You may measure directly around your waist at the point where you normally wear a belt, keeping the tape comfortably snug.
This measurement can also be used to cut your belt precisely.
Why Precision Matters
A belt cut to the correct length:
-
centers naturally at the middle hole
-
wears evenly over time
-
feels balanced rather than adjusted
Small differences in length become noticeable with daily use. Accuracy from the beginning is what allows the belt to age well.
Built for Years of Wear
Taking a careful measurement is the only step required from you. Everything that follows - cutting, shaping, and finishing - is done to honor that single dimension.
Because a belt made for one person should fit only that person.
