This stunning statement belt is crafted from Wickett & Craig's English Bridle Leather dyed in vibrant Carrot. Wickett & Craig’s English Bridle is a top-tier, vegetable-tanned hide that’s drum-dyed and hot-stuffed with waxes. This produces a smooth, dense grain and an even, waxy finish. This is among the best types of leather for a belt.
Over time, the wax‐rich surface wears into a deep, even patina and subtle sheen. With proper care the leather darkens and develops character while remaining exceptionally durable and color-fast.
The hardware matches the statement leather - a substantial solid stainless steel buckle paired with dual stainless steel keepers.
The belt is completely handmade in Atlanta, GA (USA).
