Description
This belt is crafted from J&FJ Baker’s Oak Bark Bridle Butt leather, which burnishes beautifully and develops a rich patina over decades of use. This leather is produced through an exceptionally slow vegetable tanning process that uses oak bark liquors matured for many months, which yields dense, strong, and highly stable fibers. Leaving the leather in its natural state makes this belt a true Patina Monster!
This double-pronged version takes the original Patina Monsters rugged character a step further. The exceptional leather is paired with a substantial solid brass double-pronged Garrison buckle from Japan. Two rows of adjustment holes complement the buckle's distinctive design, creating a bold, unmistakably heritage-inspired belt. The buckle is secured using solid copper rivets.
This belt is completely handmade in Atlanta, GA (USA).

Leather:
- J&FJ Baker’s Oak Bark Bridle Butt, 13-15oz in Natural
- Highest quality cowhide leather
- Approximately 5.5mm thick
- Approximately 1.5” (38mm) wide
- Custom double-punched holes with 7 hole positions
- Fully finished edges, including sanding, beveling and burnishing by hand
Hardware:
- Heavyweight solid brass double-pronged Garrison buckle from Japan (Weight 146g/5oz)
- Secured with solid copper rivets for a permanent fit. Also available in Chicago screws for future adjustments or buckle changes.
